Youth dating sermon
We compiled this feedback of videos that are frequently shown in youth ministry into a list that you can use when you need a go to video.
Over time, these videos have been proven to entertain, minister and disciple students and leave a long lasting impact on their lives.
Even if both were serious, and technically courting from this point (this is often the case today after just Also, because it sounds too “official” and “old-fashioned,” teenagers today rarely even use the term “dating.” The idea of a date—when a man formally asks a woman, for instance, if she would accept an engagement for dinner—is nearly non-existent.
Many simply slip or tumble into dating situations, seemingly not caring how this happens, or even consider in order to successfully date—and be able to eventually move on to the more serious courtship and pursuit of marriage.
So this series shouldn’t be too tough to get them talking.
These areas are also some of the toughest issues for students to navigate through.
There are some rather obvious tips like praying for each other in your daily devotions, encouraging each other to read the Scriptures, setting appropriate boundaries (emotional, spiritual, and so on), and pursuing sexual holiness. These devotions together can develop into a couple-centered spirituality that begins to replace the church-centered relationship with God that the New Testament actually prescribes.
